Agartala, September 6, 2024 – Tripura Minister Tinku Roy has announced that the state government has created over 20,000 government jobs in the last three years. This comes as a major boost to the state’s economy and employment opportunities.

Roy made the announcement during a press conference on Friday. He said that the jobs were created across various government departments, including education, health, police, and public works. The minister added that the government was committed to providing more employment opportunities to the youth of Tripura.

“We are working hard to create a conducive environment for businesses and industries to thrive in Tripura,” Roy said. “This will lead to more job creation and economic growth.”

The minister’s announcement has been welcomed by the opposition parties in Tripura. However, they have also raised questions about the quality of the jobs created and whether they are sufficient to meet the needs of the state’s growing population.

Despite these concerns, Roy remains optimistic about the future of Tripura’s economy. He said that the government was taking steps to attract more investors to the state and develop its infrastructure.

“We believe that Tripura has the potential to become a major economic hub in the Northeast region,” Roy said. “We are working towards making this vision a reality.”
